Odds Of Bitcoin Price Hitting $100,000 By Christmas Drop Below 10%

The market-implied chance of Bitcoin reaching $100,000 before Christmas has fallen 2.8 percentage points in 24 hours to 9.7%, according to Nick Forster, founder of options platform Derive.xyz, as cited by Bloomberg. The decline in odds followed BTC’s brief drop below $80,000, its first move under that level in nearly a month, as a selloff in US AI stocks pushed investors out of risk assets. Bloomberg described the crypto market as split. Market forecasters remain positive, while speculative traders have turned defensive and cut risk. Hitting $100,000 by December 25 would require a gain of about 22% from Bitcoin’s current price near $82,000 in just over ten weeks.
