Price Analysis

Can Ethereum Price Reclaim the $2,800 Level Soon?

Story Highlights
  • Ethereum Gas Used remains strong at roughly 217.1 billion despite ETH's pullback toward $2,660.

  • Priority Fees surged 26.74% to around $464,000, signaling stronger competition for block space.

  • Holding $2,600–$2,650 could allow ETH to retest the $2,700–$2,800 area.

The Ethereum price has cooled from $2,800 toward $2,660, but network activity isn’t showing the same weakness. Gas Used remains strong at roughly 217.1 billion, while Priority Fees have jumped sharply, suggesting demand for Ethereum block space is still holding up.

That doesn’t automatically mean another rally is coming. Still, the underlying numbers aren’t exactly screaming deterioration either.

Ethereum Price Gets Support From Network Activity

ETH climbed from around $1,900 to $2,800 before pulling back toward $2,660. During that correction, Gas Used increased a modest 0.26%, reaching approximately 217.1 billion.

The lack of a major decline matters. It suggests demand for Ethereum block space hasn’t weakened substantially despite the price pullback.

Priority Fees are telling a more interesting story. Per CryptoQuant analyst PelinayPA’s latest figure sits near $464,000, up 26.74% over the day. Gas Used barely moved, yet users are apparently paying more to get transactions processed faster. That’s increased competition for block space.

Can Ethereum Price Reclaim the $2,800 Level Soon?

Priority Fees Show Stronger Demand For Blockspace

The jump in Priority Fees stands out because Blocks Mined remain almost unchanged at around 7,147. In other words, the higher fees aren’t coming from a meaningful increase in block production.

Instead, existing blocks appear to be seeing stronger demand and higher fee competition. That provides a positive signal for Ethereum’s on-chain economic activity, although it still doesn’t guarantee a fresh ETH uptrend.

For the Ethereum price, the immediate technical level is straightforward. The $2,600–$2,650 Binance support zone needs to hold.

Ethereum Price Could Retest $2,800 Next

If the support zone survives while Gas Used stays stable and Priority Fees remain elevated, ETH could potentially revisit the $2,700–$2,800 area.

But there’s a warning sign worth watching. A sharp drop in Priority Fees alongside weakening Gas Used would suggest demand is fading and could put greater pressure on the $2,600 support.

For now, the Ethereum price has lost some short-term momentum, but network activity remains resilient rather than collapsing.
