Binance is including GPS in its HODLer Airdrops, rewarding BNB holders with GPS tokens.
Binance Labs previously invested in GoPlus Security, highlighting Binance's support for the Web3 security company.
Binance, the worldโs largest crypto exchange by trading volume, is adding another token to its rosterโGoPlus Securityโs GPS. GoPlus Security is a Web3 security platform focused on decentralization and user-driven protection. Starting Tuesday, March 4, at 13:00 UTC, GPS will be available for trading on Binance with pairs including USDT, USDC, BNB, FDUSD, and TRY.
Binance is also offering GPS airdrops for BNB holders and waiving trading fees, making this launch even more exciting.
What does this mean for traders, and why is Binance betting on this project? Letโs break it down.
GPS Airdrop Rewards for BNB Holders
Along with the listing, Binance will include GPS in its HODLer Airdrops program, rewarding BNB holders based on their past balances. Unlike other earning methods that require active participation, these airdrops distribute rewards automatically, making it easier for users to earn tokens.
โBinance is excited to announce the 11th project on the HODLer Airdrops page – GoPlus Security (GPS). Users who subscribed their BNB to Simple Earn (Flexible and/or Locked) and/or On-Chain Yields products from 2025-02-19 00:00 (UTC) to 2025-02-24 23:59 (UTC) will get the airdrop distribution,โ the exchange added.
GPS Supply and Future Plans
The GPS token has a total and maximum supply of 10 billion tokens. For the HODLer Airdrop, Binance has allocated 300 million GPS (3% of the total supply). Another 400 million GPS tokens will be set aside for future marketing campaigns, scheduled to begin six months after the spot listing.
Upon its launch on Binance, the circulating supply will be 1.81 billion GPS, making up 18.1% of the total supply.
Zero Trading Fees and Unique Identification
GPS deposits will open at 10:20 UTC before trading begins. To help users distinguish GPS from other tokens, Binance will assign it a unique seed phrase. Additionally, Binance is waiving trading fees for GPS, allowing users to trade without any costs. Following the listing announcement, GPS saw a 16% price jump.
Binanceโs Ties With GoPlus Security
Binanceโs involvement with GoPlus Security goes back to December 2022, when Binance Labs led a private funding round to support its Web3 security development. However, Binance did not participate in an earlier funding round for GoPlus in April 2022.
With zero trading fees and a strong security focus, GPS is stepping into the spotlightโnow all eyes are on how it performs on Binance.
