Vivek Ramaswamy Drops Out of Presidential Campaign After Trump’s Iowa Victory

In quite a shocker for the USA, Vivek Ramaswamy, the presidential candidate known for his stance on cryptocurrency, has concluded his 11-month campaign. This decision follows Trump’s victory in the Iowa caucus, a pivotal moment in Ramaswamy’s political journey.

What prompted him to do so? What’s next on his agenda? Read on!

Taking a Bow – But Why?

Ramaswamy, recognized for his plans to support the cryptocurrency industry, faced setbacks after Trump’s win in the Iowa caucus. Speculation suggests this political shift influenced Ramaswamy’s choice to suspend his campaign. Speaking to the media on Monday, Ramaswamy acknowledged the reality.

“As of this moment we are going to suspend this presidential campaign. There’s no path for me to be the next president absent things that we don’t want to see happen in this country. We did not achieve the surprise that we wanted to deliver tonight”.

Ramaswamy shared a post on X (Twitter) as he and his team cannot achieve their goal. He said that the citizens were loud and clear about who they were willing to see in the race and due to this he is ending this race. Even after his conviction, Ramaswamy endorsed his rival, Trump, by supporting him for his notable victory. Trump won this race with 55,000 votes, De Santis was standing with 23,000 votes, and Ramaswamy at 8000 in fourth place.

Forces Uniting?

Post-results, Ramaswamy clarified his departure and revealed a surprising turn—he would join Trump at a rally in New Hampshire. Their collaboration aims to present a unified vision for the nation’s future, showcasing that political alliances can emerge even after a failed campaign.

“We will work to make sure Donald Trump is the next president,”
