  • Ripple has a distinctive position in the industry with innovative technologies and extensive partnerships.

Recently, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has decided to drop its legal case against Ripple Labs’ top executives, CEO Brad Garlinghouse and Executive Chairman Chris Larsen. This marks Ripple’s third significant legal win in its ongoing battle with the SEC.

Now amidst all of this, Ripple made an intriguing move by posting a job opening for a senior manager of shareholder communications on October 16, sparking discussions among cryptocurrency enthusiasts about the company’s intentions.

Ripple In the Public Domain

In a recent interview with Ray Fuentes, the Community Director at Linqto, hosted by Thinking Crypto, Fuentes expressed optimism about the possibility of Ripple going public through an Initial Public Offering (IPO) in 2024. Fuentes discussed the timing and factors that might lead to Ripple’s IPO.

Market Conditions and Ripple’s IPO

Fuentes acknowledged that the current market conditions may not be ideal for an IPO due to the quantitative tightening period. However, he pointed out that 2024 is expected to bring increased liquidity and optimism, making it a favorable year for such a move.

He mentioned a statement by Jeremy Allaire, CEO of Circle, who believes that 2024 might see the formal recognition of stablecoins like USDC as legitimate currencies, which could align with Ripple’s plans.
