Tether Signs Kazakhstan MoU to Explore Stablecoin and Asset Tokenization

Tether has signed an MoU with Kazakhstan’s National Bank and Alatau City Authority to explore stablecoins, asset tokenization and decentralized finance. The parties will study a potential stablecoin pegged to the Kazakh tenge and develop a framework for tokenizing real-world assets, including a possible pilot using Tether’s Hadron platform in Alatau. They will also conduct workshops and training on stablecoins, digital assets and tokenization. The next step is to study international models and develop concepts and pilot proposals.
