Swiss Bank BancaStato Launches Bitcoin and Litecoin Trading

Bitcoin adoption expanded in Switzerland after BancaStato launched regulated crypto trading through a partnership with Sygnum. Customers can now buy, hold, and sell Bitcoin (BTC), Ether (ETH), Litecoin (LTC), and Solana (SOL) directly through the bank’s web and mobile apps. The service runs on Sygnum’s B2B platform integrated with Avaloq’s core banking system, allowing BancaStato to offer crypto trading without a separate order management system while improving scalability, risk management, and operational efficiency.
