Pi Network’s Protocol 27 Upgrade One Week Away

Pi Network’s Protocol 27 upgrade is set to launch September 15, just seven days out. Described as the final upgrade in the network’s current development line, Protocol v27 brings enhanced smart contract authentication, giving accounts and applications more sophisticated transaction authorization while expanding the network’s smart contract capabilities. Node operators must upgrade to version 27.1 before the deadline to stay connected to Mainnet, though users and miners don’t need to take any action. The upgrade is also expected to support new DEX and AMM liquidity features as the ecosystem develops. PI is currently holding above $0.095, with traders watching for a break above $0.10.
