Pi Network Plans V25 Protocol Upgrade on July 22

Pi Network said it plans to upgrade its network to the V25 protocol on July 22. The update is expected to introduce BN254 cryptography, Poseidon hashing, and support for zero-knowledge proofs, along with privacy-focused smart contract features and network stability improvements. The changes will first be deployed on the testnet before a future mainnet rollout. Pi Network said the upgrade is intended to support future node enhancements, open-source development, and its planned decentralized exchange (DEX) ecosystem.
