Nvidia Denies Spy Concerns Around Jensen Huang After New York Times Report

Nvidia has pushed back against a New York Times report claiming US intelligence agencies monitored a woman close to CEO Jensen Huang over fears she could be working for Chinese intelligence. The Times, citing people briefed on the surveillance, said Alice Huang is linked to Singapore cloud provider Megaspeed and had built a close relationship with the Nvidia chief. Officials were reportedly worried because Huang has regular access to President Trump. The report also said Megaspeed had been suspected of helping firms get around US export limits on Nvidia chips. An Nvidia spokesperson said Megaspeed is one of many regional cloud customers and that Huang meets thousands of clients each year. The company said customers never receive trade secrets and that the export diversion claims were investigated and found baseless last year.
