Meritz Securities Partners With Ripple to Explore Digital Asset Services in South Korea

Meritz Securities has partnered with Ripple to study digital asset custody and tokenization for South Korea’s capital markets. The deal could help Meritz prepare for regulated digital asset products as Korea develops its legal framework. The firms will initially assess Ripple’s infrastructure within existing securities rules and regulations. Meritz is also reviewing digital asset ETFs, fractional investments, security tokens, trading platforms and won-based stablecoins. Further cooperation could expand as South Korea’s digital asset regulations develop.
