On January 23, Paidun confirmed that the late John McAfee’s X account remains secure, dismissing hacking rumors. A tweet from the account revealed a connection between the Alntivirus token (Ainti) and McAfee’s AI avatar. Initially, the token’s market value surged to $76.98 million but has since dropped to $48.1 million. The update clarifies ongoing speculation about the account’s authenticity and the token’s association with McAfee’s legacy. Previously in 2021, there were reports of his death by suicide.
