Jio Platforms IPO Listing: GMP At ₹251 As Experts Advise Buying On Post-Listing Dips

Market experts expect Jio Platforms to make a strong debut on BSE and NSE on Wednesday, though views differ on how much upside remains after listing. According to Fortune, Abhinav Tiwari of Bonanza sees the stock opening about 20% above its ₹10.3 lakh crore issue valuation. Tiwari suggested that listing-gain seekers could take partial profits while long-term investors hold, and that those without an allotment could wait for a post-listing dip. He pointed to Jio’s 53.3 crore customers and roughly 60% share of India’s mobile data traffic, and expects growth in the low-to-mid teens over three to four years. Sarvam Goel, founder of Pocketful, warned that much of Jio’s 5G, broadband, cloud and AI potential is already priced in, and expects moderate gains. The grey market premium of ₹251 implies a listing near ₹1,370, about 22.43% above the ₹1,119 issue price.
