Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin has landed in Mumbai ahead of Devcon, the Ethereum Foundation’s flagship developer conference, which runs from November 3 to 6. In a post on X, Buterin said he is looking forward to meeting both familiar and new faces and to seeing projects focused on open, secure, private and decentralised technology. Devcon organisers confirmed Buterin will speak on stage during the four-day event. Developers, researchers and community groups will gather to discuss Ethereum’s roadmap and wider blockchain development. Hosting Devcon in Mumbai puts India in the spotlight as one of Ethereum’s largest developer bases. The event comes days after a major security breach at Binance unsettled the crypto market.
