Cardano Founder Says Bitcoin Will Hit $250K As AI Turns Crypto Into Utility Play

Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson expects Bitcoin to reach $250,000 within the next two years, about three times its current price near $82,000. Speaking in a recent interview, Hoskinson said a rising market would also lift Cardano and its privacy-focused partner chain Midnight. He argued that the bigger opportunity lies in building marketplaces rather than in token prices. He pointed to AI as an example, saying there is no universal market today for pricing model usage. Decentralised inference networks could create one, Hoskinson said, and drive large demand for crypto transactions. He estimated that combining AI with crypto correctly could raise transaction volumes on many networks by 10 to 100 times. Hoskinson said the industry must move from speculation to real utility through AI and tokenised real-world assets.
