The filing came after the company stopped deposits during Bitcoin price drops, its CEO exited, and Dominion Capital sued over a 77 million dollar deficit tied to commingled client funds, including 70.6 Bitcoin now frozen by court order. BlockFills says restructuring is the best way to protect clients, but unsecured creditors now face uncertain recoveries.
