Zcash Price Holds Key Trendline Support—Can ZEC Reclaim $550 Next?

The Zcash price is trading at a pivotal technical level after pulling back from its recent highs, testing a long-term ascending trendline near $480. While the broader uptrend remains intact, it would be interesting to watch whether buyers can defend this support as bullish momentum weakens. A successful rebound could pave the way for another attempt at the $550 resistance, while a breakdown may expose ZEC to a deeper correction toward lower support levels.

ZEC Holds Trendline Support, But Bulls Need Stronger Momentum

Zcash remains above its long-term ascending trendline, preserving the broader bullish structure. The price is currently hovering around $480, where the rising trendline intersects with a key support zone. The recent correction has produced a series of lower highs, indicating that bullish momentum has eased after the sharp rally. As long as ZEC remains above the ascending trendline, the broader uptrend remains valid.

However, a decisive break below this support could trigger a deeper correction toward the $340–$350 demand zone.

The MACD is on the verge of a bearish crossover, suggesting that upside momentum is fading. Meanwhile, the RSI has slipped below the neutral 50 level to around 47, reflecting a cautious market sentiment rather than strong buying conviction. On the upside, ZEC must first reclaim the $540–$560 resistance zone to regain bullish momentum. A successful breakout above this region could revive buying interest and open the door for a retest of the major resistance near $680–$700.

Until then, the price is likely to remain in a consolidation phase, with traders closely monitoring whether the ascending trendline can continue to support the prevailing uptrend.

Key Levels to Monitor for Zcash Price

  • Immediate Support: $470–$480 – The long-term ascending trendline coincides with this zone, making it the first line of defense for bulls.
  • Major Support: $340–$350 – A historically strong demand zone that could attract buyers if the trendline fails.
  • Immediate Resistance: $540–$560 – Clearing this supply zone would signal renewed bullish momentum and invalidate the recent series of lower highs.
  • Major Resistance: $680–$700 – A decisive breakout above $560 could pave the way for a retest of this multi-month resistance area.
