Quant price has undergone a rapid repricing, climbing from roughly $60 in mid-September to an intraday high near $372 before settling around $300. QNT gained more than 400% during September, putting the token among the strongest-performing large-cap crypto assets of the month.
Lookonchain reported that wallet 0x48E9, linked to Quant’s founder, transferred 25,776 QNT worth approximately $6.97 million to newly created wallets after seven years without activity. The address still holds 600,000 QNT, valued at approximately $160.39 million at the reported price.
The transfer represents only about 4.3% of the wallet’s remaining QNT balance. The newly created addresses are now being watched closely as QNT trades at levels far above those seen before the September rally. The transaction comes after QNT’s market capitalization expanded rapidly. Current data places the token near $300, with a market capitalization around $4.3 billion and seven-day gains above 300%.
The catalyst behind the move is Quant’s selection by The Clearing House to power its On-Chain Money Initiative. The U.S. payments operator said Quant will provide the interoperability, orchestration and transaction-management layer for a new network designed to clear and settle tokenized deposit transactions between financial institutions.
The system will connect with existing payment infrastructure including RTP and CHIPS, with participating institutions expected to gain access during the first half of 2027. The Clearing House processes more than $2 trillion in payments each day and is owned by 25 of the largest U.S. financial institutions.
The initiative puts Quant’s enterprise technology directly into a U.S. banking infrastructure project focused on tokenized commercial bank money, automated settlement and 24/7 payment flows.
QNT’s weekly chart shows the token breaking out of a multi-year consolidation structure. For much of 2022 through mid-2026, Quant price remained below the $200–$250 region. The September rally broke through that range and accelerated sharply, taking QNT above $300 before reaching a high near $372.
The next major resistance sits between $360 and $400. The upper boundary is particularly important because it represents the major supply zone visible on the weekly chart. A sustained weekly close above $430 would put the market into a significantly higher trading range, with $500 and $600 becoming the next psychological levels.
The breakout structure now has three important zones:
$360–$400: major resistance
$240–$260: first major support
$200–$220: broader breakout support
QNT’s September volume spike has accompanied the price move. Daily trading volume reached nearly $1 billion on September 30, compared with less than $100 million during much of the pre-rally period.
QNT enters October after one of the most aggressive monthly repricings in the crypto market, with the token moving from the $60 area to above $300 in a matter of weeks. The Clearing House deployment has placed Quant inside a major U.S. tokenized-money initiative, while the dormant founder-linked wallet has brought a large QNT balance back into focus.
The nearer-term price discovery will be determined first by whether QNT can reclaim its recent high and absorb the supply around $400.
