The Avalanche price continues to consolidate within a narrow range after witnessing a significant pullback from a pivotal support zone. It is trading around $6.47 after a rise of 1.33%, while the trading volume decreased marginally by 7%. In the meantime, the ecosystem has displayed positive developments with the Helicon upgrade going live on the Fuji Testnet. However, AVAX continues to trade below a key resistance zone, with traders watching whether the token can build enough momentum for a breakout.
The Avalanche Foundation confirmed that the Helicon upgrade has gone live on the Fuji Testnet, marking another milestone in the network’s roadmap. The upgrade is powered by six Avalanche Community Proposals (ACPs) that were approved through community governance, reflecting Avalanche’s decentralized approach to protocol development.
While the Foundation has not yet announced a mainnet deployment date, the Fuji Testnet rollout allows developers and validators to test the new features before a broader release. Testnet deployments typically help identify potential issues and ensure network stability ahead of implementation on the main network.
AVAX was trading at $6.46 at the time of writing, continuing to consolidate within an ascending channel after recovering from its June lows. The pattern reflects a gradual recovery, with the token posting higher lows while remaining below a key resistance zone.
Price is currently holding above a bullish order block between $6.20 and $6.50, where buyers have repeatedly stepped in over the past several weeks. The continued defense of this demand zone suggests that market participants are accumulating AVAX at lower levels, helping preserve the short-term recovery structure. A breakdown below $6.20 would invalidate the bullish setup and could expose the token to the psychological $6.00 level, followed by the June low near $5.60.
Meanwhile, the Relative Strength Index (RSI) stands at 46.56, remaining slightly below the neutral 50 level. This indicates that buying momentum is improving from the oversold conditions seen after June’s sharp decline but has yet to confirm a sustained bullish reversal.
On the upside, AVAX faces immediate resistance within a bearish order block between $6.90 and $7.10. This supply zone has capped multiple recovery attempts since early July, making it the key hurdle for buyers. A decisive daily close above $7.10 would invalidate the bearish order block and strengthen the case for a rally toward the next major supply zone around $9.00.
Overall, the technical structure remains cautiously constructive as long as AVAX holds above the $6.20-$6.50 demand zone. However, reclaiming the $6.90-$7.10 supply zone will be crucial for confirming a broader trend reversal and shifting momentum in favor of the bulls.
While Avalanche’s improving fundamentals support its long-term outlook, AVAX must first overcome key technical barriers before a move to $10 becomes realistic. The token needs to break above the $6.90-$7.10 resistance zone and reclaim the $9.00 supply area to confirm a sustained bullish reversal. As long as AVAX continues to hold above the $6.20-$6.50 demand zone, buyers retain a near-term advantage, but clearing successive resistance levels will be crucial before the psychological $10 target comes into view.
