Lobanovskiy described it as “the helmet of courage, an unstoppable ‘X’ of strength,” symbolizing the power of the XRP Army. As he puts it, “The XRP Army is more than just a community—it’s a movement. We shall prevail.”
XRP enthusiasts appreciated his efforts and thanked him for the logo. A user said, “Wow. I didn’t even know that you are behind the xrp logo. I was always fan of your work Eddie, but now you are officially one of my super top favorite artists.” Another wrote, “I’m really proud of being part of the #XRPArmy movement. But now with the new logo… This is just the next level, thanks so much for this.”
The XRP Army has been a strong supporter of Ripple, especially during the tough SEC lawsuit. In October this year, they started a petition on Change.org asking the SEC to stop its appeal in the case. The petition has almost 10,000 signatures. Ripple supporters believe that the SEC’s ongoing legal actions are causing unnecessary instability.
The petition brings to light the four-year fight with the SEC, where Ripple supporters have worked to protect the company’s legitimacy. The XRP Army believes the SEC’s actions go against its goal of protecting investors and ensuring fair markets.

The Ripple lawsuit started in December 2020 when the SEC accused Ripple Labs of selling XRP as an unregistered security, which Ripple denies. In the latest developments, the SEC must file its appeal-related opening brief by January 15, just days before Chair Gary Gensler leaves the agency. His successor, Paul Atkins, a former SEC commissioner, is known for advocating more lenient regulation, especially in the crypto space. With Gensler leaving soon, there’s speculation he may try to settle big cases like Ripple’s before he goes, but it’s unclear if that will happen.
