XRP price is heading into Q4 2026 with institutional demand strengthening beneath a major technical resistance zone. Spot XRP ETFs have accumulated roughly $1.79 billion in net inflows, while large holders recently added about 470 million XRP worth roughly $724 million. XRP is trading near $1.50 after recovering from the $1.25 area, leaving $1.60–$1.70 as the next major supply band. The final quarter will test whether those capital flows can absorb the overhead supply.

U.S. spot XRP ETFs have become one of the most visible institutional demand channels for the asset. The funds recorded $75.59 million in net inflows over four sessions last week, lifting cumulative net inflows to approximately $1.79 billion. XRP ETFs also recorded another $3.96 million of inflows on September 29.

Earlier institutional filings provide another view of the market. Goldman Sachs was the largest disclosed institutional holder of XRP ETF products at the end of the second quarter, with approximately $87.4 million of exposure, followed by Jane Street and Millennium Management. For Q4, the important metric is whether ETF inflows remain positive as XRP approaches the $1.60–$1.70 supply zone.

XRP Whales Accumulate as Price Reclaims $1.50

Large-holder activity has provided a second demand signal. On-chain data cited shows whale balances rising from approximately 12.37 billion to 12.80 billion XRP, an increase of more than 470 million tokens, valued at roughly $724 million at the reported prices. XRP had recovered about 28% from the $1.25 area during the move. High-value transaction activity also increased. XRP recorded 1,917 transactions worth at least $100,000, the highest level in roughly a month.

Network data provides another measurable shift toward higher-value financial activity. XRPL order-book trading increased 79% year over year in Q2, while average tokenized-asset and RLUSD balances reached approximately $4.26 billion, compared with $99 million six quarters earlier. The combination gives Q4 traders three separate data points to monitor: ETF flows, whale balances and high-value transaction activity.

XRP enters Q4 with the market watching a straightforward test: can new demand absorb the supply between $1.60 and $1.70? ETF inflows, large-holder accumulation and expanding institutional use of XRPL provide measurable demand indicators, while derivatives positioning adds liquidity and leverage to the market. The technical structure remains constructive above the $1.37–$1.46 support band.

A sustained break above $1.70 would move the Q4 setup toward $1.80–$1.90 and then the $2.00–$2.20 supply zone shown on the chart. Until that breakout occurs, XRP remains in a defined consolidation beneath major overhead resistance.
