SUI price regains bullish momentum after breaking out of a consolidation pattern, climbing nearly 1.5% over the past 24 hours to trade around $0.77. The recovery comes as the broader crypto market shows renewed strength, allowing the altcoin to defend key support levels while inching closer to an important resistance zone. On-chain data also points to improving network participation, hinting that the recent move may be backed by buying volume.
With buyers attempting to build on the breakout, the coming sessions could determine whether SUI has enough momentum to extend its rally to $1.
SUI’s latest recovery appears to be supported by improving on-chain fundamentals. Both daily active users and transaction activity are showing encouraging signs of renewed network participation. According to Token Terminal data, the number of daily active users on the SUI network has climbed to 174.6K, marking a sharp rebound from the early July low of nearly 35K.
The metric has recovered, highlighting a significant return of user activity after a brief period of subdued engagement. The latest figure also brings active addresses close to the levels recorded in late June, suggesting that network demand is steadily recovering.
The improvement isn’t limited to wallet activity alone. SUI’s transaction count has also remained resilient, with the network processing 1.7 billion transactions over the past year. Daily transaction volumes have largely stayed within the 4–6 million range, while recent sessions have witnessed a notable spike. This indicates that users are interacting with the blockchain more frequently despite broader market volatility.
The price is attempting to confirm a breakout from a symmetrical triangle, which precedes a strong directional move. SUI is now approaching a critical resistance zone between $0.84 and $0.85. This has previously acted as strong support before turning into resistance during the June correction. A decisive daily close above this supply zone could validate the breakout and shift momentum further in favor of the bulls.
The RSI is incremental, which reflects strengthening buying momentum, suggesting there is still room for further upside. On the other hand, CMF remains in positive territory, indicating that capital continues to flow into SUI. This typically points towards accumulation, suggesting that the breakout attempt is strongly backed by genuine buying pressure. A strong reclaim of resistance between $0.84 and $0.85 would signal the rally may head towards the psychological barrier at $1.
SUI’s improving on-chain activity and breakout attempt have strengthened the short-term outlook, but the $1 level remains the first major hurdle bulls need to overcome. A successful breakout above the $0.84-$0.85 resistance zone could pave the way for a move toward $0.97, with the psychological $1 mark emerging as the next key target.
On the downside, failure to overcome the immediate resistance may trigger another retest of the $0.71 support zone.
