NEAR Protocol (NEAR) & Worldcoin (WLD) prices have turned out to be among the top performers for the day. NEAR rose 9.89% to $5.365, while WLD gained 8.97% to $0.5527 in the past 24 hours. The focus now shifts to whether buyers can sustain the rally and trigger a breakout. NEAR’s rally coincides with growing interest in its cross-chain ecosystem and discussion around token issuance. Besides, Worldcoin gained more than 11% during its measured period, while future open interest declined by nearly 9.33% to $84.6 million.
Despite the gains, both cryptos are approaching important resistance levels that could determine their next price movements.
Following the latest breakout, NEAR price is approaching a critical resistance zone, strengthening the short-term momentum. Currently, the price is trading above its recent consolidation area, while the barrier remains around $5.50 to $5.75, where selling pressure has capped the rally. A sustained move above this range could improve the bullish outlook, while another rejection may trigger profit-taking.
The RSI is rising, indicating positive momentum while remaining below the upper threshold. On the other hand, the open interest has recovered significantly after a partial decline. This suggests changes in derivatives-market participation but does not establish whether traders are predominantly bullish or bearish. A decisive close above $5.75 could push the price to $6 and open the door for $6.50. On the flip side, $4.5 could act as local support, which could prevent an extended pullback.
WLD price has also displayed a similar breakout, which has improved the momentum but remains below the descending trendline. Following the breakout, the price is heading toward the resistance zone between $0.56 and $0.575. The next move will depend on whether buyers can sustain the rally and push the price above this barrier.
The RSI is neutral, pointing towards improving momentum, although stronger confirmation is needed to establish a sustained bullish trend. The DMI adds insight: +Di & -Di are moving away from each other, at times when they were heading for a bearish crossover. Combined with the descending trendline, these indicators suggest the rally has approached a decisive point. Hence, a confirmed move above $0.575 would strengthen the bullish case, while a rejection below $0.50 may increase downside risk.
NEAR Protocol and Worldcoin are showing signs of recovery, but their next moves will depend on sustained buying interest and broader market sentiment. Continued ecosystem growth and stronger market participation could support further gains, while fading demand may limit the upside. For now, traders will be watching for stronger buying interest and a clear move beyond resistance before deciding whether the recent recovery has further room to expand.
