OKB Price Surges 5% After Breakout—Is $100 the Next Target?

OKB price has finally broken the ceiling that kept its recovery in check. The token jumped more than 5% after breaking out of a multi-week ascending triangle, putting the $100 mark within immediate reach. But the bigger test is already ahead: a heavy $98–$103 supply zone could decide whether this breakout develops into a sustained rally or faces another rejection. With derivatives activity picking up alongside price, traders are now watching whether OKB can turn its breakout into the next major upside move.

OKB Derivatives Flash Bullish Signal as Traders Position for a Bigger Move

The derivatives market is adding fuel to OKB’s latest breakout. Futures volume has climbed to around $34.9 million, while open interest stands near $25.1 million, with both metrics rising alongside price. The simultaneous increase in price and open interest points to fresh positions entering as OKB clears resistance, rather than the move being driven purely by short covering. That gives the breakout additional momentum heading into the $98–$103 supply zone.

However, rising open interest also means leverage is building. A sustained break above $103 could accelerate the rally as positioning expands, while a rejection could trigger leveraged unwinding and amplify a pullback toward the $90–$92 breakout zone.

OKB Price Analysis: Ascending Triangle Breakout Signals a Bigger Move

OKB has broken out of a multi-week ascending triangle, with price clearing the $90–$92 resistance zone after forming a sequence of higher lows. The pattern had been compressing price between rising support and horizontal resistance. Today’s move above that ceiling represents the first major confirmation that buyers have gained control.

The immediate target is the $98–$103 supply zone. A move toward $98 would bring OKB close to the psychological $100 mark, while a decisive daily close above $103 would provide stronger confirmation that the breakout has further room to run. The breakout level now becomes equally important. A successful retest of $90–$92 as support would strengthen the bullish structure and could create another launchpad toward $100.

However, the daily RSI has moved above 75, showing that momentum is strong but increasingly stretched. A short-term pullback would therefore not invalidate the breakout as long as buyers defend the former resistance. If OKB loses $90, the next major support sits around $83–$87.

Can Bulls Push Beyond $100?

OKB’s ascending-triangle breakout has shifted the near-term structure in favor of buyers, but confirmation remains ahead. Holding $90–$92 would keep the breakout intact and leave $98–$103 as the immediate upside zone. A decisive move above $103 could mark the start of a broader bullish phase, while a failed breakout and loss of $90 would weaken the setup. With momentum elevated and supply approaching, the $100–$103 zone is now the key battleground for OKB’s next major move.
