Can Telegram’s Wallet Push GRAM Price Into a Breakout?

Telegram’s latest crypto initiative has placed GRAM token back at the center of market attention. By integrating a native non-custodial wallet directly into its messaging platform, the company is taking one of the biggest steps yet toward mainstream blockchain adoption. The announcement has fueled renewed buying interest, as GRAM price surged 4% today and the token’s improving chart structure has intensified speculation that a long-awaited breakout could finally be within reach.

Telegram Unveils Native Wallet for Over One Billion Users

Telegram founder Pavel Durov announced that the messaging platform will begin rolling out a native non-custodial GRAM wallet later this summer, allowing users to send, receive, and store crypto directly within the Telegram app. Unlike custodial wallets, users will maintain full control over their private keys while benefiting from instant and zero-fee crypto transfers. Durov described the initiative as the largest rollout of a non-custodial crypto wallet in history, highlighting Telegram’s ambition to make digital asset transactions as seamless as traditional messaging.

Integrating crypto payments into an application with more than one billion users could substantially increase wallet adoption, on-chain activity, and transactional demand. Rather than depending solely on market speculation, GRAM now has a tangible utility catalyst capable of expanding its real-world use case at an unprecedented scale.

Investors React as Trading Volume Surges

Following the announcement, GRAM token price climbed more than 4% over the past 24 hours, while daily trading volume surged by over 140%, reflecting a sharp increase in buying activity. The strong volume surge suggests investors are beginning to price in the long-term implications of Telegram’s wallet rollout rather than treating it as a short-lived news event. With one of the world’s largest social platforms integrating native crypto functionality, the announcement represents one of the most meaningful adoption catalysts the ecosystem has seen in recent months.

If Telegram successfully converts even a fraction of its user base into active wallet users, GRAM could experience sustained demand driven by network utility instead of speculative trading alone.

GRAM Price Analysis: Bulls Test a Critical Breakout Zone

GRAM token is approaching one of its most important resistance levels since peaking in May. After months of corrective price action, the token continues trading beneath a descending trendline that has rejected every recovery attempt over the past two months. However, sellers have repeatedly failed to push the price below the $1.30-$1.40 demand zone, where buyers continue defending support. The latest rebound has pushed GRAM back toward its descending resistance while reclaiming key short-term moving averages.

The immediate breakout zone lies between $1.60 and $1.62, where the descending trendline converges with the 100-day and 200-day EMA. A decisive daily close above this region would invalidate the prevailing bearish structure and could trigger a rally toward $1.75, with $2.00 emerging as the next psychological resistance if bullish momentum strengthens. On the downside, another rejection from trendline resistance could extend GRAM’s token consolidation, while losing the $1.30 support zone would weaken the current recovery structure.

Outlook: Can Utility Drive GRAM’s Next Rally?

Unlike many crypto rallies fueled by speculation, GRAM’s latest momentum is supported by a clear product-driven catalyst. Telegram’s wallet rollout has the potential to introduce blockchain payments to one of the world’s largest digital communities, creating a meaningful long-term utility case for the token. With trading volume surging, buyers defending key support, and price now challenging a multi-month resistance trendline, the next few sessions could determine whether Telegram’s billion-user ecosystem becomes the catalyst that finally pushes GRAM price into a confirmed breakout.
