CAKE Price Eyes $2.40 as Distribution Shows Demand Shift

Published by

The CAKE price has spent months dealing with sellers, but the latest supply distribution data hints that the balance may be shifting. Several large address cohorts are still dumping, yet the 100,000–1 million CAKE group suddenly spiked in early August after the token tested an important technical area in June.

CAKE Price Approaches Its Next Major Test

The selling isn’t exactly subtle. Addresses holding 1–100,000 CAKE have continued dumping, while the much larger 1 million–100 million CAKE cohort is also showing distribution. The 100,000–1 million CAKE group was selling through July, too, before its early-August spike suggested rising demand.

Meanwhile, the CAKE price has taken support around $1.20, an area that has mattered since early June. In August, the token is also closing the gap with its 200-day EMA. That’s the obvious hurdle.

If CAKE manages to flip and hold above the 200-day EMA, the next major level highlighted by the setup is $2.40.

Token Distribution Finally Shows Some Buyers

For now, this remains a mixed picture rather than an obvious reversal. Several cohorts continue to distribute tokens, so calling the early-August spike a confirmed accumulation phase would be getting ahead of the data.

Still, the change in the 100,000–1 million CAKE cohort is worth watching. A demand increase appearing while price sits near established support gives bulls something to work with.

PancakeSwap Keeps Expanding Tokenized Stocks

The token story isn’t the only development around PancakeSwap. Five additional tokenized assets are now trading 24/7 directly on PancakeSwap, including “COINon, MSTRon, TQQQon, AMZNon and ORCLon”.

The assets represent Coinbase, Strategy, ProShares UltraPro QQQ, Amazon and Oracle, respectively, and are powered by Ondo.

That doesn’t automatically fix the chart, but it adds another piece to the broader ecosystem story. For the CAKE price, however, the immediate test remains the 200-day EMA. A successful flip could put $2.40 firmly back in focus.
