At Solana Breakpoint 2024, Jupiter Exchange made several major announcements that could significantly boost the Solana ecosystem:

The decentralized exchange (DEX) revealed it has acquired SolanaFM, a native Solana data explorer, and Coinhall, a leading Cosmos aggregator.

These acquisitions aim to improve Jupiter’s data and trading capabilities, with Coinhall’s cross-chain expertise set to enhance Jupiter’s offerings. Additionally, Jupiter is launching its Jupiter Mobile platform, making crypto trading easy with zero fees and convenient SOL purchases via Apple Pay or Google Pay. This could bring millions of new users into the Solana ecosystem. Following the news, Jupiter’s value jumped by 12%, while Solana’s price saw a remarkable 9% rise.

Exciting Innovations Around the Corner

Alongside these announcements, Perps V2, Metropolis API, and Jupiter Mobile have also been launched at the event. Reown, formerly known as WalletConnect, introduced its Solana Appkit—a toolkit designed to simplify development on the Solana blockchain.

This platform aims to boost Solana’s connectivity and grow its user base. Reown is known for its large EVM network, which facilitates over 15 million monthly wallet connections across more than 100 blockchains.
