The famous telegram based game Hamster Kombat is set to execute the token generation event in under 2 hours from now. Before the TGE and Airdrop, the hamster team has updated the roadmap of the project. The updated roadmap contains events from October 2024 till Summer of 2025. Hamster Kombat’s new plan outlines exciting developments, including game expansions, NFT integration, and more. This year-end promises to be packed with new features for its Web3 platform, boosting player engagement and rewarding loyal fans.
Hamster Kombat’s roadmap introduces a host of fresh features. By the end of 2024, they plan to integrate external payment systems, add new games, and incorporate NFTs as in-game assets. October 2024 will see the launch of Hamster Kombat Season 2, alongside an expanded game library. By November, they will release games from external developers and introduce NFT mechanics into Season 2. This will make the platform more dynamic, offering something new for both Web2 and Web3 users.
From December 2024 to spring 2025, the platform will witness the integration of ad networks, the launch of clans, and the introduction of real-money trading within the game. The players can also expect the launch of the first ever competitive clan championship in Hamster Kombat during this period. The project will also bring second phase of $HMSTR airdrop.
Today marks the first airdrop of the HMSTR token. 131 players out of the 300 million have qualified to receive the airdrop, while 3.2 million players are banned for cheating. The platform will vest and unlock around 12% of the airdropped tokens after 10 months of listing. This will create scarcity potentially boosting demand for the token.
This airdrop is expected to put a heavy load on the Ton blockchain. In August, when DOGS conducted its airdrop, the Ton network experienced interruptions twice, each time for 6 hours. DOGS had only 80 million users for airdrop and Hamster has 131 million. The Ton core team has developed a new technology called Minted Jettons to ensure smooth distribution. All the validators are asked to stay on high alert to avoid any disruptions. According to the TON team, the network is ready to handle load but only time will tell what happens.
