This unique token gives players entry into a Poker tournament with Ethereum Co-Founder Joe Lubin, NBA Hall of Fame player Paul Pierce, YoutTube phenomenon Mr. Beast, and Hollywood actor Vince Vaughn all sitting at the table.
The NFT auction for the “The Phil Ivey Golden Ticket NFT ” will be hosted on the Binance NFT Marketplace on July 27th, 2021. Binance has made some big moves into the world of NFTs and this is arguably the biggest to date. If you win the NFT, you get to play the tournament directly on the fully licensed Virtue Poker platform. This is a unique case of real-world value brought by the sale of an NFT.
In addition to the tournament ticket, the winner gets a seat at the 2021 World Series of Poker Main Event in October in Las Vegas. Winners of the World Series win prizes in the millions of dollars range. Finally, the winner of the poker tournament will also get to donate $50,000 to the charity of their choice – assigning more real-world value to the NFT auction.
Virtue Poker is a decentralized poker platform, which means that, unlike online casinos, all transactions and gameplay is automatically verified and authenticated on the blockchain. No room for human intervention or tampering. The platform uses the Ethereum blockchain and peer-to-peer play, which makes this platform safe and trustless.
