Crypto Platform Bitrefill Hacked: 18,500 User Records Exposed in Cyberattack

Blockchain security firm PeckShield said Specter has reported that LayerZero Executor wallets appear to have been compromised, with about $2.4 million in crypto drained across multiple networks, including Ethereum, BNB Chain, Base, Arbitrum, Avalanche, Optimism, Mantle and Plasma. The attacker reportedly bridged the funds to Ethereum and converted most of the assets into 956 ETH and about $322,000 in USDC. The incident is under investigation, with further updates expected from LayerZero.
