Bitcoin gained more than 20% in three days as demand returned across both spot and futures markets. BTC open interest increased by $2.5 billion, including $1.5 billion on Binance, which now accounts for 37% of total market open interest. Binance also saw a sharp rise in futures activity, with its seven-hour moving average of net taker volume reaching its highest level since 2024. After Bitcoin broke above $65,000, more than $246 million in net buying pressure entered Binance within hours, marking the strongest surge in futures buying pressure on the platform in two years. The combination of renewed spot demand, stronger futures buying and short liquidations helped accelerate Bitcoin’s rally.
