Apple Stock Forecast: Can AAPL Rise After Q4 Earnings?

Apple has delivered another quarterly earnings beat, but its outlook has left investors with a more complicated picture. Strong iPhone demand and higher Mac sales supported revenue growth, while Services continued to generate record sales. However, rising memory costs and a weaker gross margin forecast for the holiday quarter have raised questions about Apple’s profitability. With investors looking beyond the latest results, the focus is shifting to whether the company’s growth momentum can support another rally ahead.

Apple Q4 Earnings Beat Estimates on Strong iPhone Sales

Apple reported fiscal Q4 2026 revenue of $114.5 billion, up 12% year over year and above analyst expectations. Earnings per share reached $2.10, compared with estimates of approximately $1.99.

The iPhone remained the biggest contributor, with revenue increasing 17% to $57.58 billion. Mac revenue climbed 24% to $10.79 billion, while Services generated $31.57 billion, up 10% year over year. However, not every segment delivered growth. iPad revenue declined 10% to $6.23 billion, while Wearables, Home and Accessories fell 8% to $8.3 billion. Greater China revenue increased 21% to $17.54 billion but missed analyst expectations.

Overall, the results underline continued strength in Apple’s core product business, although weaker performance across some categories remains a concern.

Rising Memory Costs Threaten Apple’s Profit Margins

Despite the earnings beat, Apple’s December-quarter guidance has raised concerns about profitability. The company expects gross margin between 45% and 46%, compared with 47.9% in Q4. Management attributed much of the expected pressure to rising memory costs, which are increasing expenses across its hardware business.

Apple also expects Services revenue growth of 8%–9% in the December quarter, below the 10% reported in Q4. Meanwhile, it forecasts overall revenue growth of 7%–10% for the holiday quarter. The guidance suggests demand remains healthy, but higher component costs could limit the benefit of additional sales. For investors, the key question is whether Apple can maintain revenue growth while protecting its margins.

Apple Stock Forecast: Can AAPL Regain Its Upward Momentum?

AAPL stock faced selling pressure following its earnings announcement, indicating that investors were more focused on the forward outlook than the quarterly beat. During the pre-market trading hours, AAPL stock is down over 4%. However, the stock’s ability to regain its upward momentum will be important. A sustained move above immediate resistance of $340 could strengthen the recovery case and open the door to further gains toward $350.

Meanwhile, continued selling pressure could expose nearby support levels of $320 followed by $316 and extend the post-earnings correction. The stock needs stronger buying interest to confirm that investors have moved past concerns over rising costs and margin pressure.

The next move will likely depend on how the market evaluates Apple’s holiday-quarter performance expectations and its ability to manage memory expenses.
