The Kadena organization has officially stopped its business operations and active development, leaving the Kadena blockchain and its native KDA token to continue under a decentralized, community-led structure. The company said it could no longer support its development team, corporate operations, or large marketing efforts, keeping only a small team to handle its legal shutdown and technical transition.
However, Kadena’s closure does not mean the blockchain itself has stopped. Since Kadena uses a decentralized Proof-of-Work (PoW) system, the network can continue running through miners and its community. Around 566 million KDA are also set to be released as mining rewards over time, with distributions scheduled through 2139.
Meanwhile, Binance.US and OKX delisted KDA trading products, adding further pressure on the token. KDA has since fallen more than 65%, trading around $0.07–$0.09, down over 99.6% from its $28.30 all-time high.

2026 has been a defining year for Kadena, but not in the way investors had hoped. The abrupt shutdown of core operations in October 2025 sent shockwaves through the KDA community, triggering a 60% single-day crash.
Despite this, independent miners kept the blockchain running, and a determined community rallied to prevent total collapse.
Recovery hinges on the Chainweb EVM mainnet launch, Flux integration milestones, and whether miner participation and community governance can sustain the network.
Competition from established Layer-1s like Ethereum, Avalanche, and newer modular players remains fierce.

| Year | Potential Low ($) | Potential Average ($) | Potential High ($) |
| 2026 | $0.03 | $0.19 | $0.56 |
| 2027 | $0.10 | $0.59 | $1.42 |
| 2028 | $0.38 | $1.41 | $3.20 |
| 2029 | $0.87 | $2.19 | $5.70 |
| 2030 | $1.40 | $5.2 | $9.40 |
By 2026, if the Flux integration completes and EVM-compatible dApps begin deploying on Kadena, growing developer activity could drive KDA toward $0.56.
As the RWA tokenization sector expands, Kadena’s $25 million dedicated RWA grant program and its unique combination of PoW security may help KDA approach $1.42 as ecosystem TVL grows.
Wider adoption of Kadena’s modular, multi-chain architecture across DeFi, enterprise finance, and healthcare data could support a move toward $3.20.
If Kadena successfully positions itself as the premier scalable PoW platform for institutional blockchain, with a functioning PerpDEX and cross-chain bridges live, KDA could approach $5.70.
Mass adoption of Chainweb EVM, a mature RWA ecosystem, and Kadena’s potential re-entry into top-100 market cap rankings could push KDA toward $9.40.

From CoinPedia’s perspective, Kadena is at one of the most critical inflection points in its history. The core team’s departure is a serious blow, but the survival of the blockchain through independent miners and the community’s partnership with Flux tells a story of genuine decentralization in action.
If the community can execute on the Chainweb EVM mainnet and attract even a fraction of Ethereum’s developer base, KDA’s recovery could be swift and significant.
If bullish conditions sustain and community execution delivers, we project KDA reaching a high of $0.56 by the end of 2026 and potentially $9.40 by 2030

The coin has sturdy fundamentals, and it might advance against the bears if it fetches requisite upgrades and practical collaborations hereafter.
If the Chainweb EVM mainnet launches successfully and the community governance transition stabilizes the ecosystem, KDA could reach a high of $0.56 in 2026.
The coin can strike record levels with a minimum and maximum trading price of $0.10 and $1.42, respectively, by the end of 2027.
The token can break out of its bearish market to reach the highest trading price of $9.4 by 2030.
