VeChain Price Prediction: Can VET Ride the $800B AI Spending Wave?

Published by
Yash Jain

VeChain (VET) is approaching a critical technical test as investors look for blockchain projects that could benefit from the AI spending boom. With nearly $800 billion in hyperscaler capital spending expected in 2026, VeChain’s real-world infrastructure narrative has a compelling backdrop. But spending forecasts don’t guarantee token gains..

VET Retests Resistance Along Its Descending Channel

VET has retested the upper boundary of a descending channel on the weekly chart. The move puts the token at an important decision point after an extended downtrend.

The chart places VET near $0.006795, with $0.010 emerging as the first upside level. A sustained move beyond this resistance could strengthen the recovery setup. However, a retest alone doesn’t confirm a breakout, and sellers may still defend the trendline.

VeChain Wants a Role in the AI Economy

VeChain is positioning its infrastructure as a trust layer for AI agents handling real-world tasks, including booking, filing, and settling transactions. The idea connects blockchain infrastructure with automated services that may need reliable transaction records and execution.

The potential opportunity is clear enough. Yet the projected $800 billion in hyperscaler capital spending represents a broader industry figure, not money guaranteed to flow into VeChain. VET’s bullish case ultimately depends on whether its infrastructure gains meaningful traction in these applications.

Five VET Price Targets Depend on Breakout Confirmation

The weekly chart highlights $0.010 and $0.015 as the nearest upside targets. Above those levels, traders may watch $0.034 and $0.067, with $0.160 marking the most ambitious target.

That path would require a substantial recovery from current levels. Each resistance zone presents another hurdle, not a guaranteed destination. Without a confirmed breakout, the descending channel remains a reason for caution.

For now, the VeChain price prediction rests on two developments: VET’s attempt to escape its descending channel and the project’s positioning around AI infrastructure. The $0.010 level is the first milestone to watch, while the wider AI spending outlook offers context rather than proof of future demand.
