Meta stock has regained momentum, with investors increasingly looking beyond advertising growth toward the company’s emerging AI revenue opportunity. Muse has quickly gained consumer attention, while Meta is extending the assistant across smart glasses and new hardware. That combination has helped propel META toward its recent highs after a sharp September rally. With shares now pressing against a key technical barrier, the market is entering a fresh test of whether Meta’s AI bet can support the next leg higher.
Muse has become the central catalyst behind Meta’s latest stock move. Launched on September 8, the personal AI agent has surpassed 2.5 million downloads, with Reuters reporting 2.8 million downloads within its first 12 days. The assistant can handle tasks including email, travel bookings, shopping and transactions, moving beyond conventional chatbot use cases.
Meta is already testing monetization through a free version and $20 and $100 monthly subscription tiers. Analysts are also looking at transaction fees as another potential revenue source, with CEO Mark Zuckerberg outlining plans for Muse to take a small fee when users complete transactions through the agent.
The early adoption has changed the AI narrative around META. Instead of focusing only on the cost of building large AI infrastructure, investors now have a consumer product that could potentially monetize Meta’s enormous user base.
META stock is pressing against a key resistance cluster after a sharp September rally, with price now sitting just below its recent 52-week high. The stock closed at $744.10 on September 23, after trading as high as $763.90 during the session. Trading volume reached about 30.9 million shares, roughly 1.58 times the average, showing that the latest move has been backed by stronger participation.
The immediate hurdle is the $758–$765 zone, which combines the latest high with key daily pivot levels. A decisive break and close above this region would put $773–$775 on the radar, followed by the psychological $800 mark. Technical resistance levels currently cluster around $758.49 and $764.24, with $773.56 as the next Fibonacci resistance.
On the downside, $739–$741 is the first near-term support, followed by $724–$726. A deeper pullback toward $700 would test the breakout structure more seriously.
Meta is also using its hardware ecosystem to increase Muse’s reach. At Meta Connect, the company unveiled Meta Charm, a small handheld device designed around Muse, alongside new AI-powered glasses and a $1,299 VR device scheduled for spring 2027.
The strategy gives Meta multiple ways to distribute its AI assistant beyond smartphones. Muse is also being integrated into the company’s smart-glasses lineup, making hardware adoption an important part of the broader AI monetization story.
Meta’s stock story is shifting from AI investment to AI monetization. Muse has delivered rapid early adoption, while new hardware gives the assistant additional distribution channels. The next phase will depend on whether Meta can convert that engagement into recurring revenue without weakening its core advertising engine. For META stock, the $760–$765 breakout zone is the immediate technical test, while the market will be watching closely for evidence that Muse can justify the higher expectations now built into the stock.
