Litecoin (LTC) has broken below its ascending support trendline, confirming a shift in short-term market structure. The breakdown was followed by a failed retest, indicating that previous support has turned into resistance. With bearish momentum building near a key order block, traders are now watching whether LTC price can defend $44 or extend its decline toward the $41 support zone.
Litecoin remains under pressure after breaking below the $48–$50 support zone, which has now flipped into a strong resistance area. The recent recovery attempt stalled just below this zone, confirming that sellers continue to defend higher prices. Unless LTC reclaims this range, the broader trend remains tilted to the downside.
The MACD is also losing bullish momentum, with the signal lines converging toward a bearish crossover. At the same time, the histogram has started fading, indicating that buying momentum is weakening after the recent bounce. This suggests the recovery is losing strength before reaching a major resistance level.
Meanwhile, the RSI has slipped back toward the neutral 50 level after failing to sustain its recent advance. This reflects fading buying pressure and leaves room for another leg lower if sellers regain momentum.
Litecoin enters the final week of the month at a decisive point. The recent rejection has delayed any immediate recovery, leaving buyers with little room for error. A sustained move above the former support zone would be needed to shift market sentiment, while continued weakness could encourage sellers to press their advantage.
In the near term, $40 remains the most realistic downside target if bearish pressure persists. A successful defense of this level could attract fresh buying interest and trigger another recovery attempt. On the upside, reclaiming the $48–$50 zone would improve the technical outlook and allow LTC to target the $54 region over the coming weeks. Until either scenario unfolds, Litecoin is likely to remain in a range where confirmation—not anticipation—will determine the next meaningful trend.
