Celestia (TIA) has a fresh catalyst as Fibre goes live on mainnet, marking what’s described as the biggest upgrade since the network’s launch. The timing matters: TIA has broken out of its descending channel on the weekly chart, and the upgrade could strengthen the bullish narrative. Still, a major protocol release doesn’t guarantee a token rally.
Announced on October 20, Fibre is designed to deliver the scale needed to bring global finance and agentic commerce onchain. The upgrade focuses on data availability, with ambitions to support demanding financial applications and AI-driven commerce.
That’s a significant direction for Celestia’s infrastructure. But the market still needs evidence that the upgrade translates into sustained ecosystem activity and stronger demand for TIA. Technology milestones can improve a project’s outlook without immediately changing its token valuation.
The weekly chart shows TIA moving above a long-running descending channel, with the latest price near $0.5816. The marked support area sits around $0.28, while $0.55 to $0.5816 forms a nearby zone to watch.
The Fibre launch adds a fundamental development to that technical setup. Together, the breakout and the mainnet upgrade may improve sentiment. However, traders still need to watch whether TIA can hold its recent gains rather than treating the announcement as automatic confirmation of a sustained uptrend.
The TIA chart identifies $1.30 as the first upside target, followed by $2.30 and $4.00. The most ambitious level is $9.00, which would require a much larger advance from the displayed price.
For now, Celestia has a major network upgrade and a potential technical recovery working in its favour. The Celestia price prediction hinges on whether TIA/USD can sustain its breakout and build momentum toward $1.30. Higher targets remain possibilities, not promises.
