Binance Coin (BNB) and Ripple (XRP) are two of the most popular cryptos in the blockchain industry. However, Solana recently eclipsed BNB while XRP retained a price range movement after a turbulent 2023. However, experts predict BNB will likely trade for $275 by January 2024.
On December 23, the chief legal officer of Ripple Labs, Stuart Alderoty, revealed details of Ripple Labs and the SEC’s interaction before the company was sued. Alderoty said the US SEC approached Ripple Labs with a settlement. This agreement would have allowed the SEC to announce XRP as a security and given the crypto industry a short window to comply. Alderoty added that Ripple Labs said NO and won the case three years later.
XRP gained massive bullish momentum after its win in July. However, the token is relatively quiet in December. On December 17, XRP traded at $0.615. Seven days later, XRP gained 0.48% and traded for $0.617. This minor price surge indicates that XRP investors are exploring other top altcoins. Therefore, we predict that XRP will trade between $0.590 and $0.640 in January 2024.
