Introducing CryptantCrab Prime—A Web3-based PVP Game

Per a recent press release, CryptantCrab Prime is set to be the new chapter of the CryptantCrab ecosystem. Designed by award-winning developer Appxplore (iCandy) on the Ethereum network in 2018, CryptantCrab players have benefited from a prize pool of 32 ETH for completing missions and tournaments. The upcoming web3-based game, CryptantCrab Prime, however, integrates a seamless play-to-earn dynamic that allows gamers to collect, trade, and mutate crabs for battles. This presents an impressive opportunity for users to earn ETH and other rewards.

CryptantCrab Prime will see players compete amongst themselves to play and earn ETH or other prizes from an existing prize pool of 16 ETH that will continue to accumulate, per the team.

The CryptantCrab Prime Web3 Game

As a web3-based PVP game, CryptantCrab Prime features an integrated ecosystem that rewards players who undertake certain tasks such as contributing, mutating, and engaging their crabs and Primordial NFTs in battles.

With the upcoming release of CryptantCrab Prime, the brand is making a transformational segue from the energy-consuming and high gas fee accruing Ethereum network to the Arbitrum platform. Expected to launch in Q2, CryptantCrab Prime, according to the team, will leverage the chain’s existing large player base as well as low gas fees.

Crab Tokens will be integrated into this game and will conveniently fuel the ecosystem, enabling players to own and spend tokens to earn huge rewards. It will also enhance player and holder participation, and extended distribution will act as a collaboration between Appxplore (iCandy) and Crab DAO (comprising Cryptant game veterans and GameFi enthusiasts). Crab tokens can be traded on marketplaces, decentralized exchanges, or any liquidity platform that supports ERC-20 tokens.

The CryptantCrab team introduces a pre-registration campaign that allows prospective gamers to get exclusive access to $5000 in Crab Tokens when the CryptantCrab Prime web3 game goes live later this quarter.

CryptantCrab Primordial NFTs

Born from the boisterous confluence of elemental energies during the planet’s genesis, as stated on the website, CryptantCrab Primordial NFTs are ERC-721 NFTs that live and stay on the Ethereum network. However, they can take part in the Arbitrum ecosystem without bridging.

They are premium, in-game NFTs designed expressly to enable holders to take ample advantage of the web3 game. Scheduled for reveal on April 19, 2024, they will take the form of powerful ancients ready to be sent forth into battle as part of the core component of CryptantCrab Prime. Holders stand to benefit greatly; 3% of the existing Crab Token supply will be airdropped to owners and portions to be received depend solely on the rarity and quantity of NFTs held. They will also enjoy consistent incentives from the Ecosystem Fund, access to exclusive events, surprise airdrops of mysterious boxes, digital goodies, etc.

Furthermore, Primordial NFT owners will receive special CryptantCrab Prime in-game perks like stronger gameplay stats compared to regular crabs, extra team slots in the Arena, ultimate form as soon as they hatch, and double EXP for players’ battle teams.

With CryptantCrab Prime’s release slated for Q2 of 2024, the team hopes to revolutionize the GameFi industry beyond gameplay, and the soon-to-be-launched Primordial NFTs will help achieve that as well as reward players for active participation.
