Huobi Global Launches World Cup Prediction Event With Attractive Prize Pools

Published by
Coinpedia

Huobi Global, one of the world’s leading virtual asset exchanges, will be launching a prediction event for the World Cup which runs from November 18 to December 18. Participants can use Oracle Bean to predict the result of each match and the World Cup champion, and stand to win a share of a prize pool if they get it correct.

Participants’ individual share of the winnings will be calculated based on the Oracle Beans each used to vote, as a percentage of the total number from all votes cast. The prize pool will comprise all Oracle Beans used to vote in a single match or for the remaining teams.

Match prediction

During the group stage, participants can predict the result of either team (win, loss, or tie) in a single soccer match. During the knockout stage (round of 16, quarter-finals, semi-finals, and finals), they can predict whether a team will win or lose in a single match.

For every soccer match, participants can only use the Oracle Beans to predict in one direction (win, lose, or draw). Once they have made their prediction, they cannot change it but can add more Oracle Beans to their prediction.

Championship prediction

During the event period, participants can predict the champion up to the point when the final match begins. They can use Oracle Beans to vote for multiple teams concurrently.

As the accuracy of predictions will increase the later participants vote during the event, the number of Oracles Beans required for each vote will rise incrementally as the World Cup progresses. For example, only one Oracle Bean is required per vote for up to 17 remaining teams, but this will gradually increase to a maximum of 1.67 Oracle Beans per vote once there are only two remaining teams.

How participants can get Oracle Beans

Participants can get Oracle Beans for free by buying Soccer Cup NFT, or exchange Crystals for Oracle Beans. 150 Crystals can be exchanged for 1 Oracle Bean on a first-come-first-served basis. Each user can use Crystals to exchange for 1 Oracle Bean once per day.

They may also exchange Badges for Oracle Beans. 300 Badges can be exchanged for 1 Oracle Bean on a first-come-first-served basis. Each user can use Badges to exchange for 1 Oracle Bean once per day.

Participants can also open airdropped mystery boxes containing Oracle Beans by using a PrimeBox NFT or a Huobi NFT as their avatar, and get Oracle Beans by participating in other events such as PrimeBox, MegaTrade, Fan Token Team Competition, Referral Program Lucky Draw, Referral Program, and Crypto Loans.
