GhostPay goes live on Solana on November 26. The privacy payment layer from GhostwareOS ($GHOST) will allow users to complete transactions in complete anonymity and with zero exposure.
The GhostPay launch has attracted the attention of crypto whales, who are on the lookout for the best crypto to buy now. The event is also a breath of fresh air for the privacy coin niche, where established coins like Zcash and Monero are underperforming.
GhostwareOS uses a modular architecture that leverages zero-knowledge proofs (zk-SNARKs) to ensure transaction privacy. Its goal is to make privacy a fundamental feature of blockchain interactions.
The platform’s modules include:
GhostPay is a much-anticipated module from GhostwareOS. It is the project’s anonymous payment layer that enables users to engage in fully private, untraceable transactions on Solana.
This feature impresses through its simplicity and fast confirmation. When a receiver requests payment, GhostPay generates a unique, one-time payment link and a QR code. The sender has to connect their wallet through one of them and confirm the transaction.
At this point, GhostwareOS routes the transfer through ShadowNet relays and records it on Solana, without revealing any of the addresses involved. The receiver’s interface detects payment and sweeps the funds from the temporary address to their primary wallet. Then, the system discards the one-time link and prevents any transaction details from being linked to the parties involved.
GhostPay is entirely client-side and runs on top of the blockchain’s standard transaction system, while keeping all transaction details hidden. The app further safeguards transaction details by using Stealth Addresses to hide the receiver’s wallet and the Tx ShadowNet feature to route payments through multiple relays, removing traceability.
GhostPay gives users access to anonymous pay links and instant payouts, with seamless QR code integration that makes mobile payment scanning easier. It also rewards payers in GHOST tokens for every private transaction they complete.
For now, GhostPay supports SOL, USDC, GHOST, and other SPL tokens. Increased use will lead to more GHOST rewards and boost token circulation, making GHOST a new target for traders.
GHOST has the potential to surge and deliver high returns.
Zcash has been one of the best-performing coins of 2025. The privacy coin enjoyed bullish runs even as the rest of the crypto market was heavily bearish. Its rise to the top accrues to an 885% price increase.
However, in recent days, the Zcash price has unexpectedly declined. Only in the last week did ZEC drop by around 22%, from $646 to about $507. This movement proves that Zcash may have reached overvalued territory and that traders are shifting from large-cap coins to smaller-cap projects.
Monero, the oldest privacy coin in crypto, is not faring any better. The XMR price dropped from around $411 to $386, recording a 6% decline in less than a week. As with Zcash, Monero has a large market capitalization of over $7 billion, which may deter traders. Meanwhile, up-and-coming privacy coins like GHOST, with a market cap of $6.57 million, could gain the attention and support that Zcash and Monero have lost.
Crypto whales generally dictate purchasing trends in the crypto market. For a while, they preferred the privacy coin niche, which helped the Zcash price skyrocket. However, the current downtrend, reflected in the declining XMR price, suggests that even the most prominent investors have paused to reassess their strategies.
The GhostPay launch on November 26 may see the whales return to capitalize on this project. GHOST is a new privacy coin with several advantages that make it ideal for early onboarding. Its low market cap ($6.54 million), innovative features, and promising potential for high returns make it a strong candidate for the best crypto to buy now.
