Bloxmith, the Web3 gaming studio that puts players first, has announced the open beta launch for its unique 1v1 squad battler game for mobile, Raiders Rumble. Powered by the Flow blockchain, the game is available for download on both Google Play and the Apple App Store.
Raiders Rumble is a fast-paced, strategic esports game that challenges players to make quick decisions to counter their opponent’s moves. It features a daily rotation of tournament modes, allowing the top 50% of participants to win in-game items or RUMB tokens, the project token for Raiders Rumble.
Unlike other Web3 games, Raiders Rumble does not require players to have a crypto wallet or digital collectibles (NFTs) to start playing and enjoying the game. While digital collectibles are available in the game, they do not provide any in-battle advantage. However, they have unique features that make them highly valued by collectors.
Co-founder and CEO of Bloxmith, Wayne Lee, states:
“For our first game, we wanted to pioneer a new type of competitive mobile strategy game that would help bridge the gap between traditional and Web3 gamers.”
Bloxmith is delighted to be working on the Flow blockchain as it solves the scalability problem for games and digital collectibles. Flow offers frictionless onboarding, social logins, and familiar payment methods, making it easier for mainstream users and brands to transition from Web2 to Web3.
Raiders Rumble will host three Flow-sponsored bonus tournaments to celebrate the launch and the esports nature of the game, allowing strategy gamers to win FLOW tokens.

The total prize pool is worth $USD 120,000 in FLOW, making it a compelling event for the best strategy gamers. The tournaments are scheduled for March 23-31; more details can be found on the Raiders Rumble website.
