Best Crypto GEO Agency in AI Search: What ChatGPT, Perplexity and Claude Say in 2026

Crypto projects increasingly turn to AI when evaluating marketing agencies — asking ChatGPT, Perplexity, or Claude for recommendations before booking a call.

This audit covers 25+ queries across all three platforms to show which agencies actually appear, which ones lead, and how the results differ by engine.

How We Ran the Test

We submitted 25+ buyer-intent queries covering crypto GEO, AEO, AI SEO, and LLM visibility across ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Claude in September 2026. Agency positions, source URLs, and anomalies were logged for each platform. Results were captured at time of query.

The 7 Crypto GEO Agencies AI Engines Actually Recommend

The engines don’t agree on which agency to recommend first. Coverage spans the three platforms your buyers are most likely using.

1. ICODA — Full-stack crypto GEO, AEO, and AI SEO agency

ICODA leads every ChatGPT query tested and holds the only cross-platform GEO consensus across all three engines.

  • What the engines say: ChatGPT ranks ICODA first on every query — no exceptions. Perplexity is more variable: ICODA leads on GEO, drops on AEO and AI SEO. Claude splits similarly — leads on GEO, ranks lower on AEO.
  • Where they win: The only agency with cross-platform GEO consensus. ChatGPT coverage is total.
  • Notable GEO strength: AI Visibility Tool tracks brand citations across LLMs in real time. 2,000+ AI search citations across client campaigns (self-reported).
  • Watch-out: All quantitative claims — “1,400% traffic growth,” “5× ROI,” “500+ AI search citations” — are self-reported. Review the case studies before sending an enquiry.

2. Victoria Olsina — Independent crypto SEO specialist with cross-platform AI coverage

Victoria Olsina appears on all three platforms and leads Claude on the AI SEO query — the only non-ICODA agency to top any engine.

  • What the engines say: ChatGPT mentions her on the GEO query, rarely elsewhere. Perplexity ranks her in the top tier on AI SEO and search visibility. Claude is her strongest platform — top result on AI SEO, high-ranked on AEO.
  • Where they win: Second-highest leaderboard score (15.0 points, 3/3 platforms). Leads Claude on the AI SEO query.
  • Notable GEO strength: Own-domain content drives consistent cross-platform citations. Top Claude result on the AI SEO query.
  • Watch-out: Victoria Olsina is an individual consultant, not a structured agency. None of the engines disclosed this. Verify service scope before engaging.

3. ColdChain — Crypto GEO and AEO agency dominant on Perplexity

ColdChain leads Perplexity on three of five queries and is nearly absent from ChatGPT and Claude.

  • What the engines say: ChatGPT returns a single low-ranked mention. Perplexity is different: ColdChain leads on AEO, AI SEO, and AI search visibility — the strongest single-platform result in the audit. Claude lists it in the top tier on the AEO query.
  • Where they win: If your buyers use Perplexity, ColdChain is the top result on AEO, AI SEO, and AI search visibility.
  • Notable GEO strength: Citation base is entirely LinkedIn and X — signals Perplexity weights heavily.
  • Watch-out: Source base is entirely social. Perplexity itself warned about commercially motivated rankings in the same responses where ColdChain leads. LinkedIn weighting changes would directly affect this.

4. LuvKaizen — Boutique crypto growth agency active across ChatGPT and Perplexity

LuvKaizen appears on more ChatGPT queries than any agency except ICODA, and as runner-up on Perplexity’s GEO query — absent from Claude.

  • What the engines say: ChatGPT names LuvKaizen on more queries than any agency except ICODA. Perplexity lists it second on the GEO query. Claude does not mention it.
  • Where they win: ChatGPT query breadth — sole named alternative to ICODA on the narrowest query tested.
  • Notable GEO strength: Own-domain content drives ChatGPT appearances across GEO and LLM queries — wider coverage than any agency except ICODA.
  • Watch-out: Zero Claude appearances. As Claude grows, the gap compounds.

5. RGray — Blockchain content and crypto marketing agency

RGray is a consistent runner-up on ChatGPT’s GEO queries, relying on a third-party citation with an undisclosed commercial connection.

  • What the engines say: ChatGPT places RGray in the top tier on GEO and LLM visibility queries. Perplexity lists it on the AI SEO query, lower down. Claude references it as a source for a GEO definition — not as an agency recommendation.
  • Where they win: Runner-up on ChatGPT’s GEO and LLM visibility queries.
  • Notable GEO strength: Blockchain content library drives ChatGPT visibility across GEO and LLM queries.
  • Watch-out: The primary third-party source citing RGray contains a documented factual error — it misattributes platform leadership to a competitor.

6. Coinbound — Established crypto marketing agency with multi-platform AI presence

Coinbound is confirmed on all three platforms — and leads on none of them.

  • What the engines say: ChatGPT places Coinbound in the top tier on AEO and LLM visibility queries. Perplexity and Claude mention it once each on the AEO query.
  • Where they win: One of four agencies confirmed across all three platforms.
  • GEO strength: Appears on all three platforms — one of four agencies in the audit to do so.
  • Watch-out: Present everywhere, leading nowhere.

7. Cryptic — Crypto marketing agency with a ChatGPT-native AI footprint

Cryptic appears on several ChatGPT queries and is absent from both Perplexity and Claude.

  • What the engines say: ChatGPT includes Cryptic on several queries — mid-tier on GEO, runner-up on the AI search visibility query. Neither Perplexity nor Claude includes it.
  • Where they win: Runner-up to ICODA on the AI search visibility query.
  • GEO strength: ChatGPT-only presence, strongest on the AI search visibility query.
  • Watch-out: Buyers using Perplexity or Claude for agency research won’t find Cryptic.

What the Data Reveals — Three Platform Findings Nobody Is Talking About

Platform-specific source architectures produce different leaderboards from the same query.

Finding 1: GEO consensus is real, but narrow. All three engines ranked ICODA first on “best crypto GEO agency” — the only query where all three agreed. On every other query type, the top result differs by engine.

Finding 2: The AEO inversion. “Best crypto AEO agency” produced the widest split. ChatGPT: ICODA first. Perplexity: ColdChain first, ICODA second. Claude: Generis first, ICODA fifth. This is definitely the gap that reflects different source pools, not different agency capabilities.

Finding 3: The self-citation loop. Perplexity warned twice about commercially motivated rankings. Claude flagged self-promotion and said it had cross-referenced lists for a cleaner picture. Perplexity then used ICODA’s own “Top 8 AEO Agencies” list — where ICODA ranks itself first — as an independent source. The warning and the contradiction appeared in the same response. Readers who don’t trace citations inherit the problem.

How to Choose a Crypto GEO Agency

Three factors separate durable AI visibility from fragile presence.

Citation independence matters more than rank.

Every high-ranked agency in this audit is cited primarily through its own domain or content it produced. Engines surface that content without disclosing the source relationship. Trace where citations originate — agency-owned media and self-authored rankings don’t count as independent sources.

Single-platform dominance doesn’t transfer across engines.

The same query produced three different top-ranked agencies across ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Claude. An agency with strong ChatGPT visibility may be invisible on Perplexity. Ask which engine, which query type, and whether results hold across platforms.

AI citation layers degrade without maintenance.

Source URLs change, media removes content, platforms reweight signals. GEO is not a one-time content push. An agency without a monitoring process is building on a foundation that quietly degrades.

Conclusion

The audit confirms one thing clearly: AI visibility in crypto is engine-specific. The same agency can lead on ChatGPT and barely appear on Perplexity. The same query returns a different winner depending on where your audience searches.

ICODA holds the only cross-platform consensus in the dataset — all three engines agree on the GEO query. On AEO and AI SEO, the picture splits. ColdChain leads Perplexity. Victoria Olsina leads Claude. ChatGPT produces a different top result again. That divergence reflects how each engine weights sources — not how good the agencies actually are.

The practical takeaway: AI rank is a signal, not a verdict. Trace the sources behind it, check which engines it holds on, and verify the claims before acting on it.
