XRP Whale Outflows From Binance Hit Seven-Month High as Price Nears $1.40

On-chain data reveals that the 30-day sum of XRP whale outflows from Binance has reached approximately 1.38 billion tokens, marking a historic seven-month high. But despite the drop in exchange supply, XRP has fallen to $1.40, keeping selling pressure high.

Despite the decline, crypto analyst Ali Martinez has spotted a new four-hour TD Sequential buy signal, raising hopes of a short-term XRP recovery.

XRP Whale Outflows Reach 1.38B Tokens

According to CryptoQuant data, XRP whale outflows from Binance have reached around 1.38 billion XRP over the past 30 days.

This means large holders are moving more XRP away from the exchange, reducing the amount available for immediate selling. If buying demand returns, lower exchange supply could help reduce selling pressure.

However, the outflows alone do not confirm that whales are preparing for a rally. Large holders may also move XRP to cold wallets, other wallets, or different exchanges.

While whale activity points to lower exchange supply, XRP price is still under pressure.

XRP Price Falls Toward $1.40

XRP fell around 3.3% to $1.40, following the wider decline across the crypto market. This creates a mixed setup, as whale outflows are rising while the price continues to weaken.

The selling pressure is also visible in the derivatives market. XRP perpetual futures open interest rose by around 50 million XRP to 2.37 billion tokens as the price declined.

At the same time, the long/short ratio fell to 0.92, showing that bearish positions are increasing.

XRP Flashes a Four-Hour Buy Signal

Amid the decline, Ali Martinez noted that XRP has flashed a four-hour TD Sequential buy signal after falling from $1.53 to $1.39.

An earlier sell signal appeared near XRP’s local high, making the new buy signal worth watching.

The signal could point to a short-term bottom, but it does not confirm a lasting recovery. For a stronger rebound, XRP needs to reclaim $1.60. If that happens, lower exchange supply and short liquidations could support further upside.
