Shibarium, a Layer-2 alternative for the Shiba Inu money, has come under fire for allegedly being a clone, upsetting the community. Steve, a member of the Shiba Inu growth team, leveled the charge after he observed that the testnets for Shibarium and Rinia shared the same chain ID.
In response to the recent controversy over Shibarium’s code, famous crypto YouTuber Ben Armstrong, also known as BitBoy Crypto, announced on Twitter that he would reveal Shytoshi Kusama’s actual identity in the near future.
It seems as though Armstrong is receiving a message from the founder himself. Let’s explore.
Shytoshi Kusama is well known as the creator and founder of the Shiba Inu ecosystem and the SHIB cryptocurrency. In a recent tweet, he made reference to Bitboy Crypto’s Live, saying that he watched the stream although there was nothing substantive spoken about Shib by Armstrong, he disregarded Kusama, and ignored everyone else. He continued by saying that he would stop participating because it is a waste of time. Furthermore, he added that he didn’t want any controversy and because Armstrong had “real beef” to deal with but urged him to quit fudding.
A group of investors who did business with the defunct cryptocurrency exchange FTX filed a class action lawsuit on Wednesday against a number of internet influencers, saying that the content creators pushed unregistered securities on their viewers and followers while promoting the dead exchange. The complaint was filed against video producers who reached millions of online users, including Ben Armstrong, the creator of BitBoy Crypto and seeks more than $1 billion in damages.
There is a Twitter frenzy after BitBoy claimed on his Twitter handle that he intends to reveal Kusama’s true identity, prompting a response from Shytoshi, with the discussion ongoing. According to BitBoy, there is enough evidence to support the theory that Sam Bankman-Fried, the creator of the now-defunct crypto behemoth FTX, was involved with the project in its infancy.
There is a mixed reaction from the community over this. Some are saying that Shytoshi should stop talking in riddles as is getting boring now. While there are some in support of Shytoshi and continue to support him.
To conclude,
The question on everyone’s mind right now is who is actually right here. This controversy raised eyebrows and people want an explanation from Shytoshi. Do you think Shytoshi should provide an explanation or not? Will Bitboy Crypto dox him?
