Shiba Inu Lead Hints At Interesting Updates For SHIB In The Coming Weeks, What Is It?

Shytoshi Kusama, the Shiba Inu ecosystem lead, during his meet-and-greet campaign at the recently concluded TOKEN2049 Conference in Singapore, has given hints on some interesting updates for SHIB in the coming weeks. 

Real Case Use Cases For Shiba Inu Ecosystem

Notably, popular crypto YouTuber Raajeev Anand shared a video of him speaking with Kusama, who attended the TOKEN2049 conference in a masked costume. According to Anand, Kusama stated that the next two weeks will be more interesting for Shiba Inu. Although the mysterious leader did not provide exact details about the upcoming updates. 

In a follow-up comment, he shared

“In the next 2 weeks, SHIB is going to announce some real use cases for Shiba Inu ecosystem. Something big is coming in Q4”

TREAT Token launch Imminent?

While Kusama was cryptic about these use cases, it is believed to be related to the TREAT token and the layer-3 privacy chain. In his X post about the Token 2049 event, Kusama noted that he wished he could have spent more time at the conference. However, he remarked that their focus is on “private things,” which might be an indirect reference to the layer-3 network.

Notably, Kusama has also changed his bio on X to “Preparing to #Treat the generals,” suggesting that the launch of the layer-3 network might be close. While the network’s name is not yet revealed, it was disclosed that TREAT will be the utility and governance token for the new chain.

Shiba Inu Marketing Lead Advises To Focus On Defi

Shiba Inu’s marketing lead, Lucie, has advised users to stop using centralized exchanges and focus on decentralized finance (DeFi). She suggests the users start focusing on what matters and Learn how to use a DeFi wallet, Get familiar with the blockchain basics, and Protect their precious tokens with a hard wallet

She noted that anyone serious about DeFi should look towards bridging to Shibarium. She added, “If you’re serious about DeFi, get your tokens on Shibarium and enjoy low fees and fast transactions.”
