The SEI price is back on traders’ radar after Canary Capital filed Pre-Effective Amendment No. 2 to its S-1 for the proposed Canary Staked SEI ETF. The fund would hold spot SEI and stake roughly 90% of its holdings, with BitGo named as the sole custodian.
That filing adds fresh attention to a token that delivered a 1,000%+ rally during 2023–24. Naturally, the market is already asking whether another major SEI pump could follow.
The weekly chart offers a more measured story. SEI is trading around $0.06796 while moving inside a falling wedge pattern.
The trading range has narrowed considerably, and the token is now retesting the wedge’s upper border in October 2026. That’s the level bulls need to clear.
A confirmed upside break could shift the technical setup considerably. The first major hurdle sits at $0.09539.
If the SEI price breaks above the wedge and eventually flips $0.09539 into support, the next levels highlighted on the chart analysis are $0.15137 and $0.30125.
Those are sizeable moves from current levels. But there’s a catch.
SEI has to actually escape the pattern first. A rejection around the upper boundary could send the token back into the falling wedge, leaving the broader consolidation intact.
The proposed staked ETF gives the SEI price another narrative to trade, but the chart still demands confirmation.
A failure to clear $0.09539 could keep SEI consolidating inside the wedge longer than expected. For now, the market has a breakout level, a major resistance zone, and plenty of room for traders to get ahead of themselves.
