Six-year journey of Pi Network is coming to an end with the official launch of the mainnet on Feb 20, 2025. Now, with the launch just around the corner, many are eager to know how they can sell their Pi coins which they have been mining for years. Here are simple and easy steps to follow!
Step 1: Transfer Pi Coins to an Exchange
Once the mainnet is live, the first step is to transfer your Pi coins from your Pi Network Wallet to an exchange that supports Pi trading, such as Bitget, or OKX. To do this, open the Pi Browser and navigate to your Pi Network Wallet.
Next, head to Bitget or another exchange that supports Pi. In the deposit section, search for Pi Coin and copy your unique deposit address. Paste this address into your Pi Wallet and initiate the transfer.
As officially announced by Bitget spot trading pi will begin on Feb. 20, 2025, at 8:00 AM UTC. Once the market opens, go to the Spot Trading section on Bitget and search for PI/USDT. You can then place your sell order and convert your Pi into USDT.
Once you have sold your Pi, you can withdraw your funds. Most exchanges allow you to transfer your USDT, BTC, or ETH to external wallets like Trust Wallet, MetaMask, or hardware wallets.
If you prefer fiat currency, you can use P2P trading to sell your USDT for USD, EUR, INR, or other fiat currencies and withdraw it directly to your bank account.
If you’ve mined Pi for years and migrated your tokens to the Mainnet, you can transfer them to an exchange and sell them. However, not everyone can sell Pi Coin right now—just 5 days away from the Mainnet launch.
If your Pi is still in the Enclosed Mainnet, you can’t sell or transfer it yet. You’ll need to complete KYC and migrate to the Mainnet first.
With the Pi Coin price already hitting $92 after the Mainnet launch announcement, it’ll be exciting to see how the market reacts when exchanges like Bitget, OKX, and HTX start trading it!
Use your Pi Wallet to send Pi Coins to a supported exchange by copying and pasting your deposit address.
Yes, convert Pi to USDT, then use P2P trading to withdraw funds in fiat currency to your bank account.
As of February 2025, 12 exchanges have listed Pi Coin, including OKX, Bitrue, Bitget, KuCoin, Gate.io, Bybit, and MEXC, among others
