NVIDIA Q2 Earnings Tomorrow: Will AI Crypto Token See Bullish Rally?

Published by

Nvidia, one of the biggest semiconductor chipmakers and a key player in the AI boom, is set to release its Q2 earnings on August 26. Wall Street expects around $92 billion in quarterly revenue and adjusted earnings of about $2.09 per share.

Now, the big question is, will a strong Nvidia earnings report spark a rally in AI-linked crypto tokens?

If so, which token could benefit the most?

What To Expect From NVIDIA Report

NVIDIA is expected to report around $92.16 billion in revenue, with strong demand for AI infrastructure likely driving another record quarter.

The company’s previous quarter already generated $81.6 billion, including $75.2 billion from its Data Center business, which jumped 85% year over year and 20% from the previous quarter.

The Blackwell chips are expected to remain a key growth driver as cloud companies and AI developers continue expanding their AI systems.

Networking is also becoming an important part of NVIDIA’s growth, with Data Center networking revenue reaching $15 billion, nearly three times higher than a year earlier.

The bigger focus will be Blackwell demand, hyperscaler spending, and next quarter guidance around $102–103 billion.

Strong NVIDIA Report Could Impact AI Crypto Tokens?

A strong revenue report could have a bigger effect on AI related crypto tokens than the overall market.

AI narrative tokens, including Artificial Superintelligence Alliance (FET), Bittensor (TAO), Near Protocol (NEAR), and Render (RNDR). These tokens often move with the overall AI narrative and can react strongly to NVIDIA’s performance.

Historically, FET and TAO have treated NVIDIA’s earnings as a high beta extension of the AI trade, with moves of 10% to 30% within 24 hours of major results.

If NVIDIA only meets expectations or gives weak guidance on big tech spending, AI stocks could lose momentum. This could also push AI crypto tokens lower as traders sell their risky positions.

Nvidia Stock is Already 8% Down

Nvidia stock has already fallen 8% over seven straight days and is now trading at around $208.48. The stock has lost roughly $400 billion in market value since August 13, marking its longest losing streak since 2022.

Nvidia has also fallen after earnings for four straight quarters, dropping an average of 5.3% over two days despite beating expectations each time.

This time, however, selling started before the earnings report.
