Recent on-chain data shows consistent buying activity, suggesting accumulation is underway. With whale demand returning and buying pressure holding strong, Bitcoin’s direction has clearly turned upward—setting the stage for a potential bullish continuation.

Hyperliquid Whale “Quatio” Loses Over $15M in Liquidations

A crypto trader known as “Quatio” on Hyperliquid faced a severe liquidation streak. According to Lookonchain, he was hit by eight liquidations in just five hours, losing positions worth 1,177 BTC ($128.3 million) and 34,466 ETH ($86.82 million). Over the past 10 days, his losses have crossed $15 million. This shows the risks of high-leverage trading in volatile markets. AMINA Bank Becomes First Global Bank to Support RLUSD Stablecoin

Swiss crypto bank AMINA is now offering services with Ripple’s new USD-pegged stablecoin, RLUSD, becoming the first global bank to do so. The bank will offer custody and trading for RLUSD, starting with institutional and professional investors, and plans to expand its services in the coming months. This move comes amid the rising demand for regulated stablecoins, which are now worth $250 billion. RLUSD, regulated by New York’s DFS, has already reached a $430 million supply.

IMF Rejects Pakistan’s Crypto Mining Power Subsidy Plans

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has rejected Pakistan’s proposal to offer subsidised electricity tariffs for crypto mining operations. The IMF has raised concerns that the subsidies could strain the already burdened power sector and distort the market. However, talks are still ongoing as the government works on a revised proposal. Pakistan had first proposed a six-month subsidized tariff in Sept 2024, then a targeted subsidy in November, but the IMF rejected both, saying that they could hurt the economy. The IMF allowed only a 3-month version.

REX‑Osprey Solana Staking ETF Sees $12 M Inflows on Day 1

The REX-Osprey Solana Staking ETF, launched Wednesday on Cboe, has pulled in a massive $12 million in inflows and $33 million in trading volume on day one. Bloomberg’s James Seyffart called it a “healthy start,” as he noted $8 million traded in the first 20 minutes. Eric Balchunas said that it has also outperformed Solana and XRP futures ETFs, but is still far below Bitcoin and Ether spot ETF debuts, which saw $4.6 billion in day-one volume. Analysts now give a 95% chance for spot Solana ETF approval by the year-end.

ETH ETF Inflows Surge as Ethereum Tops $2,591

Ethereum ETFs are seeing major inflows lately. BlackRock’s ETHA pulled in $54.8 million on July 1, while the net inflows across all US ETF issuers hit $40.7 million. ETHA has now attracted over $5.5 billion since launch, with inflows on 29 of the last 30 days. It is currently one of the top-performing Ethereum funds. Boosted by this momentum, ETH is currently up over 6%, trading at $2,591.56. Bitwise’s Matt Hougan says ETH ETFs could hit $10B in the second half of 2025, driven by growing interest in stocks and stablecoins on Ethereum. In June alone, ETH ETFs saw $1.17 billion in net inflows.

Grayscale ETF Approval Paused by SEC for Further Review

Grayscale, a major player in crypto ETFs, recently received approval for a new fund that includes five major altcoins. But the SEC has now put a stay order, pausing the approval and putting the ETF on hold. It initially gave the green light on July 1, but pulled it back, saying the decision would be reviewed. This was announced in a letter from the SEC to the NYSE. However, this is not a full rejection and just a delay. Bloomberg analyst James Seyffart suggests the SEC may be waiting to set clearer rules before allowing any altcoin ETFs to move forward.

Ethereum Price Today

Ethereum is setting up for a major move, with $2,700 now in sight. The key level to watch remains $2,500; only a sustained hold above this zone can trigger the next leg higher. A short-term dip may still play out before the rally kicks in. With institutional capital steadily flowing into ETH and renewed optimism around ETF approvals and on-chain activity, a breakout could lead to a rapid push toward new all-time highs. Momentum is building. Ethereum’s next major pump may be closer than many expect.

Bitcoin Price Today, BTC/USD

Bitcoin is testing the upper end of its consolidation range around $110,000, as strong ETF inflows, declining exchange balances, and mounting political pressure on the Fed create a potential breakout scenario. Despite these bullish signals, price action remains muted suggesting the market is coiling for a major move. With July’s historically strong seasonality and key labor market data just hours away, the timing is critical. Volatility remains low, offering strategic entry points. If Bitcoin breaks past $110K with conviction, the next leg higher could be swift. All eyes are on the upcoming macro signals to confirm the breakout.
